Anisha Sood identifies and leads investments that accelerate the mission of Echo Health Ventures. She advises portfolio companies' management on driving efficiencies, engaging individuals and increasing transparency within the healthcare ecosystem.
Anisha joined the Cambia Health Solutions strategic investing team in 2013. She has over 15 years of experience in the health care industry across strategic finance and consulting positions. Prior to joining Cambia, she served as an independent consultant at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation where she was responsible for structuring financial instruments and investment strategies. Anisha has also served as a Vice President of Healthcare Investment Banking at Credit Suisse, a global financial services company where she provided financing and M&A services for life science, medical technology and health care services companies. She has also held a management position in Accenture’s Health and Life Sciences consulting practice.
Anisha holds her Master of Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business, as well as her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Southern California. She serves on the Board of Directors for CarenaMD and TytoCare and as a Board observer for Maxwell Health, Retrofit and Wildflower Health.
Given her interest in both health and business, Anisha is an active member of the Washington Medical Technology Angel Network (WINGS) where she serves as a screening committee member.
Anisha is based out of Echo’s Seattle, Washington office and is enjoying her new role as a mom while balancing any and all previous interests with a full night’s sleep.
