Alex Gfeller

Associate, Echo Health Advisors
Alex is an Associate on the Echo Health Advisors team at Echo Health Ventures. She focuses on the engagement between Echo Health Ventures, its portfolio and its health plan stakeholders.

Before joining Echo, Alex worked in Human Resources at Duke Health supporting the organization’s leadership in employee relations, compensation, organizational and leadership development as well as talent acquisition.

Prior to Duke Health, Alex spent several years at Blue Cross NC, serving as a project manager and chief of staff for the Portfolio Management team, which managed a portfolio of enterprise and departmental projects delivering on the organization’s strategic imperatives. Alex began her corporate career at Blue Cross NC as an Associate in its Rotational Development Program with roles in Human Resources, Finance and Enterprise Strategy. Before returning to school, Alex spent her early career working at Girls on the Run of Charlotte in NC focused on strengthening research-based community programming.

Alex earned a Master of Arts in Business Management from Wake Forest University and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from NC State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude.

Alex is based out of Echo’s Durham, NC office.
