Heartbeat Health CEO Jeff Wessler receives Tom Main Health Innovation Mentorship

The Oliver Wyman Health Innovation Center has named Heartbeat Health founder and CEO Jeff Wessler, M.D., recipient of the 2022 Tom Main Health Innovation Mentorship. Heartbeat Health is a New York-based company that delivers virtual-first cardiology services.

Through its Heart app, Heartbeat Health offers telemedicine, diagnostics, referrals, care coordination, and more. Patients connect directly with  cardiologists who utilize real-time data to help patients manage their heart conditions. The company recently announced a deal with Caption Health to launch echocardiograms utilizing artificial intelligence.

Wessler aims to leverage the mentorship opportunity, which supports entrepreneurial leaders passionate about health innovation and transformation, to create widespread utilization of telecardiology. He is the third recipient of the annual mentorship, following Corbin Petro, CEO and Co-founder of Eleanor Health last year, and Lisa Janssen Alderson, Co-founder and CEO of Genome Medical, in 2020. Heartbeat Health, Eleanor Health and Genome Medical are all Echo Health Ventures portfolio companies.
